Import .xlsx or .csv files using the selected catalog’s template. Download its current spreadsheet in the import wizard first, then copy your data into it. A spreadsheet with different headings must be adapted to this template.

01 — HOW IT WORKS

From a dish list to a finished menu

  1. 01

    Download your catalog’s spreadsheet

Open spreadsheet import and choose XLSX or CSV. The export follows your catalog’s languages and includes current dishes, their IDs and statuses, including archived items.

  2. 02

Fill in fields and review the changes

Keep headings and existing dish IDs. Fill in language columns; prices may contain text. Paste values instead of XLSX formulas and save CSV as UTF-8. Upload the file and review the before/after comparison.

  3. 03

    Match photos and finish importing

Add individual JPG, PNG or WebP files. Match them to the photo column by filename or assign them manually. Photos are optional. Review the summary and confirm import to save the catalog changes.

XLSX and CSV

Up to 10 MB per spreadsheet, 2,000 data rows and 100 columns. Legacy .xls files are not supported.

Review before saving

A known ID updates a dish; a blank or unknown ID creates one. Review the comparison before applying changes.

Separate photo uploads

Add JPG, PNG or WebP files separately from the spreadsheet. A ZIP archive of photos is not needed.

02 — FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What if I delete a row from the exported spreadsheet?

When changes are accepted, an existing dish missing from the uploaded file is proposed for archiving in the catalog. Review the changes before confirming. Do not delete a row just to hide a dish in one menu.

Can an empty cell clear a description?

Yes. Accepting changes clears the corresponding field. Clearing the photo cell does not itself remove the existing photo; assign a new image to replace it.

How do I prepare translations?

Use the separate columns for your catalog’s languages and keep the headings unchanged. You provide the translations; import does not translate automatically.

Can I cancel an import?

Changes remain a draft until final confirmation. Canceling discards that import. Draft recovery after closing the browser tab is not available.

Does import update saved menus automatically?

Import updates the catalog. Saved menus keep independent snapshots and are not overwritten automatically. Update the intended menu separately and review it before exporting.

How much does full PDF export cost?

Creating a catalog and editing menus is free. Export the first 3 pages of your own menu for free. Full PDF export has no page restriction and requires a subscription: $2 per 30 days. Subscriptions renew automatically; check the price, currency and period before paying. Pricing and subscription details →
